Ok I thought I would just get this out in the open now...those of you who know me are already aware of this, but I'm kind of in love with Lady Gaga. Her originality in music and fashion is outrageously brilliant! I've seen her twice in concert (once at Kool Haus, and once at the ACC) and she is an incredible performer who can actually sing. With that said, designers like Armani and Prada have designed costumes for Gaga's overseas Monsters Ball tour. Giorgio Armani created four seperate looks for the pop star, including two sparkly bodysuits, an iridescent mini-dress and a floor length black patent trench coat (all with custom shoes and sunglasses for each!!!). Prada has designed an 18th century inspired hoop dress made of camel-colored ciré (a shiny plastic jersey blend.)Check out the pictures of two Armani sketches:
Here is a glimpse of the Prada designed outfit:

The title says it all...DENIM is everywhere and is making a comeback! Never thought you could wear jeans with a denim top? THINK AGAIN! Now is your time to step outside your comfort zone and pair different denim pieces together! Now, don't get me wrong i'm not a fan of matching denims exactly (meaning wearing the same shade of jeans and the same shade top), you HAVE to mix it up. Mix different hues, patterns, shades, styles etc. Just make it your own!! H&M has a really good denim collection right now..but you have to hurry they are selling fast!! Here are some pictures of Daria Werbowy (shoutout! she's Canadian)for the The Blues collection for H&M:

Here are a couple of things I am going to be purchasing!!
Moos ($75) Aldo
I have really been wanting a nude pump for a really long time now. I'm actually surprised I don't have a pair already. I have a pair of sandals that are like tan colour but that's just not the same. Anyways, since i've come to the realization that the Louboutin version is out of my reach right now. I am going to settle for the pair from Aldo (boooo! but they'll get the job done! lol)
Kristin Metallic Crossbody ($228) COACH
Soleil Tan De Chanel ($48) Chanel

I just came back from watching Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio, ummmm YIKES!! Good movie, but I'm sooo scared now! I don't usually watch movies like that because I get scared very easily but I love DiCaprio so I had to watch it.I'm super freaked out so before I go to sleep I figured I should post something that will make me HAPPY =)
Anyways!I've been seeing a lot of lucite accessories at different stores with the launch of different spring collections. I think this is going to be a big trend for the upcoming season. I have to say I'm totally feeling it though with the right outfit!! Don't want to spend a lot on a trend? Good news is you can find some at all different price points! Don't splurge for expensive items, you can pretty much achieve the same look by purchasing accessories essentially made out of plastic. Looks the same...I even saw a set of a couple clear plastic bangles for like $7 at H&M the other day. Perfect to complete a nautical look for the spring/summer! Here are some transparent accessories I've come across so far:
Rhodium Bead Necklace ($695) Michael Kors
Plastic Bracelets ($32) Swarovski

This is such a huge trend for this season, but I can't even tell you how much I am in LOVE with bib necklaces! I think they add such a nice touch to any outfit. You can wear them casually during the day or dress it up for evening. They make great statement pieces...
A lot of celebrities have been seen wearing them, and they are all over the runway. Olivia Polermo from "The City" wears them really well. Actually, it was announced back in September that Olivia will be designing a necklace collection with Roberta Freymann. YAY I'm looking forward to that collaboration!!

I've really really really been wanting a Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 lately. I know, I know everyone has one, and i'm not one to buy something that a lot of people have...BUT I really love this bag!! I think the shape and style is just classic, and is great for everyday use. The Speedy 35 is a great size too because you can use it for travel as well. I'm just not sure what colour or pattern I would like.I really love the Azur but I feel like the monogram or the ebene would match with everything! Well...here are the three I am debating between:
